Native American Fish & Wildlife Society addresses environmental issues in Ashwaubenon

Mailliard Ranch, a 14,838-acre property in California, is the largest privately held coast redwood forest. Its meadows, streams and redwood-covered mountains support rare wildlife and plants. In partnership with Save the Redwoods League, and with support from NFWF and Walmart’s Acres for America, the Mailliard family permanently protected the land through three conservation easements — preserving old-growth redwoods and 28 miles of salmon streams.
