WATCH: A newly observed dark lava dome at Mayon Volcano’s summit generated pyroclastic density currents on Thursday morning, Jan. 8, including one that descended the Miisi Gully at around 11:40 a.m. A total of 49 PDCs were recorded throughout the morning across the Miisi, Bonga, and Basud gullies.
